Garofalo Gluten Free Mafalda Corta has origins in the land around Naples.
Indeed, the pasta shape was created here with the typical curl at the edge, which then gives rise to the smaller and shorter version.
The name is linked to the desire to pay homage to princess Mafalda of Savoy.
